Flags remain removed from the stern (always thought it looked silly as subs did not do this on patrol and would likely not fly it from the stern on patrol.
Changed periscope depth on Salmon and Sargo to 60 feet. Note: until the 1944 coning town silhouette upgrade, will have to manually order 55 ft for periscope in calm seas. After 60 ft works.
Also increased the crush depth of the Salmon and Sargo classes by about 30 feet or so as found was a bit shallow and in TMO are routinely required to dive much deeper than in real life to escape escorts.

Changed the effect thermal layer has on enemy hydrophones from 2.0 to 2.5. This does not neuter the escorts but prevents some rather unrealistic behavior of escorts. I may change this back but liked my first DC. Next patrol is in an area with shallow waters so will see how it works out.
Changed the light factor on enemy visual sensors from 4.0 back to the default 3.0. This is due to finally having a darker nights mod (see upload section) which permits realistic night surface attacks ( was even able to sneak inside the screen to attack as subs like Tang did on many occasions). Left at 4.0, enemy escorts were practically blind at in low light conditions. 3.0 seems to be a proper balance. Of course, other factors such as your profile to the enemy, the individual skill level of the enemy, moonlight, your speed etc.
Increased limit of officers and petty officers on all subs. Always annoyed how few petty officers etc can have and sim counts CPO as officers so limits the officers can have as well. Limit on most clases was raised to 25 officers and 50 petty officers, can have a more realistic crew composition if desire.

Not sure whats up with it, but this CTD's when I try to start a campaign from the main menu. troubleshot by enabling just this and FotRS as well as other combos of my normal mods. no dice
