photo Realistic sprite weapons pack 1_USN

this pack will replace these USN weapons sprites for these weapons
with better looking none cartoon ones.

usn_mk16

usn_mk37

usn_mk45

usn_mk48

usn_mk48_adcap

usn_mk48_adcap_swimout <--made this a blue color to simulate swim out

usn_moss

usn_ugm84

usn_tasm

usn_tlam

included is the new skin for the TLAM as it uses the same skin as the TASM ive fixed this with a new model skin.

Installation first unzip ....... the file then go to the hud default folder its located in

C:\Users\lance\Desktop\Play SUbs\ColdWaters_Data\StreamingAssets\override\hud\ default

copy and over write any sprites with same names from my folder.


ok easy bit over with now the hard bit

BACK-UP the weapons file to the desktop very Important step this as you can do REAL damage to the game with messed up weapons files.

the file is in
C:\Users\lance\Desktop\Play SUbs\ColdWaters_Data\StreamingAssets\override

its called

weapons

open it (((((((Remember Make a Back-up before editing))))))

down to business what you will be doing is making this


WeaponObjectReference=usn_mk16

WeaponSprite=weapons/sprites/usn_mk16_sprite <--- example


look like this

WeaponSprite=hud/default/usn_mk16_sprite.png



so you are changing were the game looks for the weapon sprites basically and DONT FORGET THE .png at the end its important

do this for all the weapons in my pack so

WeaponSprite=hud/default/usn_mk45_sprite.png

k TLAM time

find this line in the weapons files

WeaponObjectReference=usn_tlam


then find this is a bout half way down in the tlam files

[Model]

ModelFile=weapons/assets/usn_tasm
Material=weapons/assets/usn_tasm_mat
MaterialTextures=weapons/assets/usn_tasm_tx

and change it too

[Model]
ModelFile=weapons/assets/usn_tasm

Material=ships/wp_ssgn_oscar/wp_ssgn_oscar_mat
MaterialTextures=vessels/textures/tlam.png


carefull hear as both the tasm & tlam have identical lines.

TOP TIP USE readme-notepad

open edit by clicking on it go to find then put in tlam note it can search up or down

after this is done got to the textures folder and pop in my new texture.

path file

C:\Users\lance\Desktop\Play SUbs\ColdWaters_Data\StreamingAssets\override\vess els\Textures

the file to put there is called

tlam <----its in the folder you unziped in the tlam texture folder

now save the changes by going to File at top corner of the readme and click save

now go try it if it fails you need check what you did and you have your original weapons.txt back up you did at the beginning
if you cant fix it
