This is my first upload so I am a bit nervous!
This is a fantasy ( in some eyes, maybe not) single mission for SH3 GWX. The time period is Jan 1947. The location is the Antarctic ocean. "Operation HighJump" was an expedition organised by Admiral Byrd, including a task force including Admiral Nimitz and Admiral Krusen. It was touted to be an expedition to find "valuable resources" but was terminated expectantly after one month.
The pre-war German territory of "Neuschwabenland" is in the same vicinity.
A German secret base is involved. A Type XXI U-boat is on patrol.
An actual statement by Admiral Karl Doenitz in 1943, " The German submarine fleet is proud of having built in another part of the world, a Shangri-La on land, an impregnable fortress." gave me the inspiration.
Take this mission for what it is and have some fun.
Unzip the file and place into your silent hunter III/data/single missions/english folder
