GWX 3.0 is here! The Ultimate Silent Hunter III Supermod The Grey Wolves team released their Magnum Opus, GWX 3.0. a comprehensive expansion mod for Silent Hunter III that replaces their earlier expansions. Grey Wolves 3.0 Supermod is one of the few bonus mods that require a very small donation. Your support keeps SUBSIM online. Once you make your donation, the mod can be downloaded here. The primary objective of this release has been to consolidate all official GWX files and fixes released to date for SH3. Before today, for a full and correct GWX installation, you had to first download GWX 2.0, then download GWX 2.1, and finally download the fixes released by the dev team. Now you can completely upgrade to GWX 3.0 in one EASY install. Along with the well-crafted 600+ page manual, GWX 3.0 added a huge list of additions and tweaks, including DRAMATICALLY improved graphics, battleships, warships, planes, AI subs, merchants of every stripe, sound files, music, graphic fixes, dozens and dozens of new missions, and tons more. As GWX team leader Kpt Lehman remarked, "We started out as puppies digging in the garden... and well... we think we found China!" China indeed, if not the whole Asian continent. The importance of their work cannot be overstated, GWX simply anchored the massive popularity of Silent Hunter III as the best U-boat subsim ever, for many years to come.

pjw131313 01-04-13 at 06:21 AM	Hi, a few years ago [2009] I downloaded GWX3 [3.0] Gold Edition which was downloaded in 7 lots as well as the Commander Files, totaling 1,31 gig. I now see under downloads [date added- 10-31-2012]: "GWX 3.0 is here" "The Grey Wolves team released their Magnum Opus, GWX 3.0. a comprehensive expansion mod for Silent Hunter III that replaces their earlier expansions" Grey Wolves 3.0 GOLD Edition Expansion. Is this the same files [now condensed] that was avaliable and I downloaded a few years ago? Kind regards, Peter W. (South Africa)

To solve this send an email from the bonus downloads page to Neal Stevens--- subsim@subsim.com Include your username and recipt #. I did and it was taken care of in a very timely manner. colonelj 01-01-16 at 10:17 PM	hi i donated and downloaded all the grey wolves patches 1 through 7 plus the exe the problem im having is that the launcher cant find the file 7 it asks for to start no matter where i move the files to desktop multiple drives etc it doesnt work any help would be appreciated or a link to a complete file that isny segmented thx neal hope to here from you soon

vladimir571 01-24-15 at 06:39 AM	good, of course, GWX....but....don't quite understand why it is not added (i.e., even just why not left) of the American destroyers Benson, Benham, Sims, Gridle, Mehen...British sloops an Aigrette, Grimsby, Bittern?...Oh and something more...they had to be completed manually, from the original; why so much of the "hedgehogs" phonetically on ships after 1943....clear new perspective...but it also had disadvantages and damage to the nasal gun.....in the original game was not overdone in this plan....it would be better implemented Moustrap, Squid.....akin...but it would be interesting and historically; pale textures boat...I would like mod with realistic skin-coloring" of those years for different boats...there sublime...but interesting little..Sep. such thoughtless, as if from the comics; but the slaughter is unkillable aviation....confused from the gunners, guns....playability sacrificed dubious historicity; traffic, incidentally, is also somehow not impressed, poor; in fashion CLA2 definitely not satisfied with the color of the water...day unnaturally blue...night - wax-Polish...still would like outwardly from the side to enjoy the view of a slinky in the shadows of his submarine....but I liked the visibility in the rain....not at 300-350 meters. and much more - now and in this weather the convoy may not feel secure - it is easier to attack; quite chic would be the opportunity to visit all the compartments of the boat)...Well...modolell THANK you!)

When it does, you will see a small badge in your profile (First Officer, Captain, etc) Then go to the SUBscribers access section here to download GWX 3.0 Gold. And remember, if you have any problems getting the download, simple ping Onkel Neal (that's me!) and I am here to help.

Teson65 06-21-17 at 11:57 AM	Hey! I have a problem...all mission load to about 80% then halt. I had some luck with hitting Alt Tab, but not always. This is only in single missions I cant start main game, it halts at 80% then crash. I have a clean steam version on a SSD direct under E: and GWX 3.0. Nothing els.....So does anyone have a glue? Played SH3 when i was much younger and would love to get back ;-)
