My 1000th post. I feel like I have joined an elite group.
P.S.: Just out of curiosity, why 17,000 Neal? Why not wait for 20,000?

WOW! So many people sign up...and only very few ever make thier first post.
I think it's weird. I never reg. someware where i did not have a good reason for. I always stayed, because i THINK before i hit the "Register Now!" button.
But anyway, Subsim is very popular these days. And that rocks.  :yep:

Many register because they want to have read access to the DW and SH3 Mods forums.

That's why I registered. But then I found a bunch of great links being posted here and discovered far stuff more than just good mods.
Time for some champagne and chocolates :ping:
That's very generous of you Neal. I am going to recommend you for a O.B.E and a Knighthood. :D

Wasn't the member count over 10,000 at WPL back in the days before SHII was even released? That was something.
This is becoming a better and better marketing tool for indi projects :hmm:
Needless to say that i'm very delighted about this :D
I think alot came becose of SHIII.
Cheers,
Deamon

What happens to inactive users, will their accounts be removed?

What happens to inactive users, will their accounts be removed?
Yes, and then their computers will be confiscated, and their credit information will be distributed to third parties at will.
In seriousness, no one ever has their account deleted, unless, of course, they did something stupid.

What the heck kind of an answer is this? :stare:
I don't know about this forum, but if you are talking about forums in general you are wrong. In most forums its actually common to delete inactive user accounts after a period of time, say 3 months. Otherwise there will be a mess, and the number of true active users will not be correct.
But I'm impressed if this forum got 17,000 active accounts.
