I don't find it particularily offensive, but perhaps comments from a moderator regarding a post or about any thread should be eliminated. That way the moderator can maintain the 'higher ground' and work toward the betterment of the forum without his/her credibility being questioned.

I know what you mean, but I am a community member first, and moderator second. I have my opinions and I will state them if I wish. When I do, I try to do that as carefully as possible, but it´s always possible that maybe someone feels offended or insulted by what I say. As a moderator I´m a natural target and it´s not unusual to sometimes see some knee-jerk reactions by some people, no matter what I say. That happened to me and some of colleagues in the past and it will happen in the future. *shrug* That´s life...

Guys, I think you abit over reacted to the Gizzmoes post. The thing is, the first post is a bit dramatic. Why he wants every post deleted? Why ban? Jugs likes to be in the spotlight. Jugs can be a drama queen, he know's it & we know it. I think that someone like Jugs brings a lot of fun/levity to many posts and I miss him.

Obviously, Jugs & mods have had runins in the past which is why they take his words with a pinch of salt. Jugs wears his heart on his sleeve & it shows. Nothing wrong in that.

Yep. The first time he was suspended for going bonkers in the Steel Beasts thread. I talked to him by e-mail and said I didn't want to see anyone banned, I would like to get him back in. But some people just don't have the maturity level we're looking for here. Every time some flames broke out in the forum, he had to get in and make it worse. :shifty:
