New to SH3

Greeting everyone, I am trying to follow the advice given in an earylier thread for a first time install of the sim. I need to find a file named "SH3Weather". Can some one let me know where to find this file? If it is in the downloads on this site, I am just plain overlooking it. I purchased this sim after lurking on this forum for a while and found that everyone seemed to be really involved and enjoying this submarine sim. Just have to give it a try.

I cannot help you with the weather folder as I downloaded GW and left port before Bernard showed up. :lol: Post this in the Mods forum as well. Enjoy the game....you will be hunting for hours and find that your eyes are bleeding, friends and family have disowned you. But that is OK because that what we are here for...your new found friends and family:rock:

Hi Jim Welcome. :) As the other Kaleun's said SubSim has got it all. I recommend cruzin the forums and getting familiar with all the features offered. And UBRS "aka: The Candy Store" is a must for all your U-Boot

Thanks for the links. I already know more now than I did this morning. Found the weather mod and have it downloaded.:D Now I'll be able to see if I can get this sim going in the morning.
And, of course, thanks to those of you who took the time to welcome me to the crew. I hope that I don't become an annoying bilge rat
