Been working on a digital painting of Sean Connery circa Dr. No 1962. Unfortunately, after hours of work I've lost all perspective and I can't tell if the likeness is quite there yet. It kinda looks like him...it kinda looks like Cary Grant too. Any opinions? Maybe the eyebrows aren't arched enough...maybe I need a martini shaken not stirred..

Wow. :o Amazing stuff. I still prefer what's her name, the German lady with a periscope between her legs. :smug: :|\\

Anyway, could use some tuning perhaps, doesn't look like Cary Grant but I somehow think it doesn't look a 100% like Sean Connery either.

Dump the cig and put a mild smurky grin on his face.

Carry Grant? :nope: :nope: :nope:

Very nice

Perhaps just slightly too much/too thick/too dark around the hair?

Speaking of Mr Connery, I was watching the film The league of Extraordinary Gentlemen. What the heck was that all about? :-?

Torplexed, drop the fag and where is the Bond Girl? Nice picture.

Thanks for the feedback all. That Connery photo from lesrae was particularly useful. Should do art by commitee more often. :D

Anyway...changed the hair, flaired the nostrils, added a few more crowsfeet, dumped the ciggie. It's still not 100% him but it's closer.

Great work Torplexed!! If I may be so bold, I know it is perhaps a style of drawing...but, you might want to make the face just a smidgen wider and a little bit shorter...but otherwise, looks spot on!!

Also...looking at the photo above....you might want to put the side parting which is currently on the left hand side, across to the right hand side and perhaps darken the hair a tiny bit more...that should be perfick! :D

Nice one Torplexed!
