When Ale##&&jad gives Europe an ultimatum not to support Israel it`s a hidden declaration of war. What he really says is: Do as we tell you or else...

The supreme cleric to the country. THe president of Iran has no power. Seyyed Hassan Khomeini is the true power of Iran. The pres is only his puppet. He did appear on TV recently holding a Klashkinov in defiance of the US.

The real question is, how will Europe respond.

You know on this occasion I just wish a couple of world leaders in public stod up and said hey shut the ******* up....

And I would wish people would not wish for some helpless rethorics, but would press their polticiians and people they are in contact with so that a fundamental change in policies would be prepared - at the end of this process we maybe would win the freedom of action so that we can afford to tell him what you want him to tell. But as long as that is too much demanded, our leaders will continue to pay them protection money to escape their wrath some month longer, and will continue to import islam's evil ideology into our homes, and will continue to appease them on the basis of our helplessness and our inability to take on the conflict that is being enforced on us.

I just wish people in our homelands would stand up in public and tell our own leaders hey shut the ******* up, and send them to hell afterwards...

As long as we don't do that, we only get what we deserve, every single one of us: we may get a nutsie* like Ahmadinejadh for example. Nutsies like him just do what they do, as their design intends: like scorpions do sting, spiders bite, frogs squawk, fishes swim and birds fly. We better should complain about our own stupidity and our own "Angst" and our own cowardice and our own self-deception.

Do we have a nuke that can only kill one person? No hard feelings, but I really feel like nuking this guy, so the Iranian people can pick a better candidate this time. :rotfl:

a little quick on the draw aren't you, what about world opinion? y'all sound like you're ready for a unilateral acction against this country. maybe the U.N. should get involved and establish sanctions which would prevent Israel from being attacked by the Al-Mahdi al-Muntadhar.

The U.N. has proven to be highly unreliable, I'll wait to see what they decide to do with North Korea before I even think about askinbg them to do anything on Iran.

We also have to remember that Ahmadinejad ("Nutjob in Iran") has publicly declared that he's going to wipe Israel off the map, and that he intends to pursue development of nuclear weapons.

We're taking his threats with absolute intent on stopping him. And since he refuses to negotiate regarding his program, we have to consider a first strike as the last resort after negotiations fail.

And frankly, the prospects aren't looking to be all that bright.

and he will pay a heavy one if he gets anywhere near a nuc bomb standby israeli airforce clobbering

As long as the country and people is not completely wiped out by overkill-use of the real big nukes, even a preemptive strike even with nukes is no guarantee that after it Iran will not have the option to use his own to-be-nukes against us, no matter how they are delivered. If such a war is conducted, this time it needs to work perfectly, for a change. PERFECTLY. If incompetence, political considerations and hesitations and sense for subtleties finds it'S way into the planning like it did in Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon, then we will be the ones paying a real heavy one, both immediatly and in the longer run.

And that is no panic-making, but a very realistic possible outcome. We have not the smallest reason to be delighted about prospects for war with Iran. They are in the stronger position - like it or not. No Bush and no Rumsfeld for this new game, please. Dilletantism again will cost our own people very, very dearly.

i dont think so i think israel will act alone and do what it has always done survive!

Israel is a good catch currently too big to be swallowed in one gulp. But like you use knife and fork to cut up the steak on your plate, they are working on picking away at it from all sides. having lost their nimbus of invincibility, this will accelerate (or better: it already has: Hamas has started to organize it's militias and seeks to arm them in the way Hezbollah is structured). any power follwing the Hague Land Warfare Convention and it's differing between combatants and civilians has a major problem when facing a guerilla - and even greater problems when having to deal with an Islamic militia. people may think that Hezbollah has gone in Southern Lebanon. I think they haven't moved anywhere - only changed clothes.
