I do.

But it would help if she had a better linky indicator, something like this:

*LINK! CLICK ME OR DIE TRYING!<-

Note: The line above is NOT a real link, stop clicking on it already.

I'm trying to understand your problem.

I simply use the forum software's URL tags, which produce a standard underlined hyperlink. Nothing exciting here and all quite standard since the implementation of HTML a long time ago.

Is it a visual problem? Or do you simply assume that underlining does not usually indicate a hyperlink? It does in most WEB pages I've ever seen.

:rotfl:

Well, for me the underlined links died with the old forum, I can't get a screenshot showing the mouse cursor, but simulating it by poorly drawing it on Paint, this is what I actually see:

I take it that everybody else can see the underline without having to hover your mouse over the text then. I'd like to understand my problem too, am I cursed?!

The underlining isnīt there when you use the haylazblue style. Neal hasnīt fixed that problem yet, Iīll send him a reminder.

A workaround is not to use

Link (http://link)
Link (http://link)

but

Link (http://link)
Link (http://link)

I have disabled link underlining in Opera, which is a problem here since links have the same color as the normal text. Only when howering mouse above link it turns yellow.

Note: Opera has two display modes: author and user. This problem only affects author mode with underlining disabled. I always prefer user mode so I don't really suffer from this problem, since my links are show in different color as normal text. Just reporting my observation.

Ahah! Now I understand the source of your problem. I use the dark forum skin and underlines show up without a problem.

SUFFA!

OK. OK. I will try to remember to add the underline code brackets whenever hyperlinking, until Unkel Neal is pestered enough by Gizzmoe to fix this problem.
