Sure, if a picture surfaces that may shows the stupidity of an Official State Run thing, then it is sure a manipulated photoshop.

Relax, it's safe as long as your finger is wedged tightly in the opposite ear. That way, the sealed-in pressure will halt the bullet in its place in the barrel should you inadvertantly pull the trigger.

Some modern pistols have trigger safeties...on a Glock, it's the ONLY safety. On my XD 45 and XD 9, (well, technically an HS2000 'cos I'm a trend starting genius lol), there is a trigger safety as well as a grip safety.

The trigger safety is a thin strip of metal that runs up the center of the trigger, and it sticks out a little towards the muzzle. It has to be depressed along with the trigger for the striker to be released and the gun to fire.

Your finger, when placed on the trigger as per shooting normally, will depress the trigger safety as you squeeze the trigger. If you pull the trigger w/o depressing the trigger safety, nothing happens. Same with my XD and HS2000.
