View Full Version : Which SH3 is which?
Hello to the forum.
I came across SH3 recently and after lurking on the forum and reading the posts I'm planning to order the game. I just checked Amazon though and there appears to be 2 different publishers? The game is available from both Focus multimedia and Ubisoft. What gives? The focus multimedia version is £4 less and the cover looks the same. I just want to get a version that works with the minimum of fuss.
Thanks for your time

Go with UbiSoft and you'll have a sure win. Don't trust others. This way you know from who you bought the game.
More $$$ = More security
Avoid that confusion. Buy it here:

Go for the brand name that you know - UBISOFT, and get the DVD in the box version. That will make it simpler and much easier when you install it and are ready to patch to 1.4b. No hidden surprises!

...plus that you increase the chance to get a world-map and keyboard-layout with it as well. :)
Thanks for the info.
I'll try the amazon link. Its for delivery in Switzerland (you know that European country with the great naval heritage) so I'll get the skinny on deliveries.

It's the same product repackaged. It's happening a lot these days.
The only meaningful difference in the packaging would be that the Focus edition probably won't come with a printed manual (it's on the DVD in pdf format anyway). I don't know about the world map or keyboard layout diagram, I bought the Ubisoft edition and it came with neither.
