Ive allways thought Hinduism is warped. Good to hear they have chosen Budhism and Cristianity, if they continue to convert in masse it brings India closer to the West.

In fact, buddhism came as a kind of social revolution and reformation to hinduistic society, a protest movement, comparable to Jesus's function towards the pharisees and their dogma based on the OT. hinduism has some remarkable philosophy to offer, in parts, but it's social reality always seem to have harsh, inhumane and very cruel, as far as I know. A very two-faced thing it is. In the understanding of somwhat contradicting itself by this contrast between social reality, and philosophical teaching, it is a monumental failure.

Sad, but I already knew about the inequality in India. Saw a long Discovery program on it. Might have been PBC too instead of Discovery, but it was one of them.

religion (one would have thought) was and is about the persuit of truth....which is a fine thing which should be encouraged at every opportunity for every-one everywhere..
one draw back tho...never trust ANYONE....who claims....to have....found it:yep:
