The Virgin Spring and Seventh Seal

Tonight must be Ingmar Bergman night on IFC, these two films kept me from getting much work done. Wow! :o Powerful movies.

Indeed Neal, a true genius. Like for example Kurosawa. Just popped into my head. There were/are others. :cool:

check out Samurai Saturdays on IFC. Saturday mornings they show samurai films including the best of Kurosawa and Hiroshi Inagaki. My favorites are the Zatoichi series and Lone Wolf and Cub/Shogun Assassin series.

Ive only heard of Seventh Seal and seen it but i dont think its the one Neal is talking about, the seventh seal i watched had that actress forgot her name:damn: Bruce Willis ex wife and was about the last days on earth - the seven signs mentioned somewhere in the bible, Revelations? but of course it was done hollywood style . Im a big movie watcher yet never heard of "The Virgin Spring" :oops:
