The following pictures are not fraud.
They are shocking. :o:o:o

Shocking that Israel bombed them, or shocking that the moslems were launching rockets, retreiving rockets from underground bunkers, and deploying mobile AA weaponry from that location?
Also,
Reuters: "Before it's news, it's 'shopped up with the clone brush."

Also,
Reuters: "Before it's news, it's 'shopped up with the clone brush." Sir, I am not going to argue with you or anyone.
The pics are already posted.
If you like them or not is another subject.
I do not care if you are pro Israel or pro Muslim.
I am just showing facts.
And, I have a question:
Has AA weapondry sufficient merit to deserve the destruction of a whole city downtown?
The images are showing desproportion and revenge, nothing else.
It is difficult to judge criminals when the judge become the same. Don't you think? :hmm::hmm::hmm:
Has AA weapondry sufficient merit to deserve the destruction of a whole city downtown?
Yes it is but it's not only AA but military stores and troop concentrations as well.

Yes it is but it's not only AA but military stores and troop concentrations as well.
And it's not downtown Beirut. It's southern Beirut, specifically a neighborhood named Harek Hreik, where Hizballah had their main HQ, including deep underground command center bunkers smack in an otherwise completely residential area.
To get an idea of the real size of this area, look at this NY Times graphic (http://www.nytimes.com/packages/html/world/20060804_MIDEAST_GRAPHIC/). Note the map of greater Beirut in the upper left, the map of Manhattan just below it for size comparison and that the image shows approximately a single square kilometer.

BTW, notice how the thread was immediately hijacked to distract from the original subject: the corruption of the mass media, including almost all the major wire services, AP, AFP, Reuters.

Back on Topic,
It is clear proof that Reuters is staging these photos, and it makes me wonder how many other images on the ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN were forged or staged. Bastards are practically siding with the Hezbolla, just to make Israel look bad.:nope:

It said "shows side-by-side comparisons of southern Beirut before and after the current conflict. In order to maximize the apparent damage, they made the "before" picture be in full color, and the "after" picture a washed-out gray. Is the entire city covered in a uniform gray dust? Or did the Guardian subtly "desaturate" the colors in the "after" picture?"
It's best to read the text, than just look at the nice little pictures Von_Capo.

In addition, try searching for the satelliet before/after pics of Beirut, showing the entire city. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. Why? Because those pics put into correct proportion what area and how much of Beirut was bombed, lessening the impression. But who's noticing?!
who cares if they doctored the photos up a bit, our countries papers do it every day to less mundane things.
the facts were clear enough without the pictures being doctored. israel caused an extensive amount of damage to the civilian infrastructure of southern lebonon.

That happens if one side mounts weaponry on roofs of public schools, bunkers ammunition in basement cellars of private houses, and abuses civilian structures to hide it'S combat forces inside of it so that it can only be fired at the price of accepting to hit civilian infrastructure as well. BTW, Hezbollah does this intentionally and intentionally provoked the killing of civilians - to make the price for Israel daring to fight against Hezbollah a PR desaster.
People should focus less on the smyptoms, but on the motives of both sides why these symptoms became a reality. fighting with all determination and unforgiveness is one thing, and admitted: it is grim. Intentionally slaughtering exactly civilians is somethign very different, and illustrates total disrespect for even the most fundamental basic of humane ethics: it is pure cynism. Israel did the first - Hezbollah did the second. Shame on Israel for having handled this war so dilletantic from the very beginning. I expected far better from them.
