problem with patch

when i tryed to update with patch 1.3 a message came up saying
shiii/data/menu/en_help txt-unknown version.
i am at a loss as to why this appeared.
any ideas.

Make sure you have the right patch. There are four, one each for European and American DVD versions, and one each for the versions you download (not the patch, the game itself).
