Is there a thread or a website that I can go to to find the layout of the ports in SH3 (ie: scapa flow) which shows the mines and sub nets.

I'm not aware of one, but there's two things you can do to come up with the info:

1. The Blatant Cheating Way :arrgh!:: Open up the Sh3MissionEditor (usually in found in Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII). From there, go to File->Open Scripted Layer and select the file Campaign_SCR.mis. Once that opens, you'll be able to zoom in on anywhere in the world and see where subnets, minefields, DD's, PT boats, etc are.

2. The Justifiable Way: Download SH3Gen. ( http://www.subsim.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=47405&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/../phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=47405&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0) ) It provides situation intel on ports, ships, etc, but in a way that isn't blatant cheating, as the info it provides is fuzzy and not always reliable, making it kind of like intel you'd recieve from BdU or other skippers.

Thanks. I found out how to do it. HunterICX walked me through the procedure.
