Muslim accosts injured Para in hospital - UK

A paratrooper wounded in Afghanistan was threatened by a Muslim visitor to the British hospital where he is recovering.
Seriously wounded soldiers have complained that they are worried about their safety after being left on wards that are open to the public (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2006/09/17/ntroops17.xml) at Selly Oak Hospital, Birmingham.

i cannot believe this. im speechless. this guy needs shooting. how dare he say anything against a wounded paratrooper hero. If a soldier cant return to his country without facing this, then we might as well give up. This has really affected me.

As a Muslim this is what I would say if given the opportunity to confront this idiot who dished out a verbal at a British soldier in hospital:

"And what are your feelings towards members of the Taliban who slaughter and behead Afghan school teachers (men and women), aswell as burning down schools? What do you say to the Taliban butchering local Afghan Judges and Ulemma? And what of the killing hundereds of local Afghan shoppers buying their provisions at Kabul and other Afghan town markets courtesy of Taliban and Al Qaeda suicide bombers? And the same can be said of Iraq and other nations around the world. Where is you sense of outrage and injustice here sir!"

The denial and turning a blind eye to the irrefutable facts makes me ill. Oh the hypocricy. :down:

Unfortunately the biggest enemy of islam is islam itself these days after certain nutters decided to make it into a political tool of terrorism. I wonder how many muslims that have realized this. That bloke at the hospital certainly didn't have a clue.

I've been thinking about the structure of the Mosques. It would be most amusing if foreign Muslims organized to set up their own Mosque with their own 2nd or 3rd generation Imam and started returning fatwa fire.

For example, if an Australian author receives a death sentence fatwa by Khamenei, Imam Konovalov drops a fatwa asking Iranians to remain strong and oppose the Ayatollah's regime, to Jihad for democracy, freedom, to be Mujadins of equality.

I think I'm missing something, an un-named source of the sun says it was muslims who did this - is there any proof or evidence here, or is it just the word of one of this country's least reputable newspapers that people are going on here?
