I'm looking into getting a remote control submarine, one in the $400-$500 area. Any good places? It doesn't matter if the subs are modern or WWII or anywhere in between.

Thanks!

Robbe had a nice collection of RC Submarines if I remeber correctly.

Thanks! The U-47 model is really nice! I'll probably look into that one!

The U-47 model is really great. I saw it once on a exhibition in Sweden, it's massive :D

I checked the www.rc-sub.com (http://www.rc-sub.com) and that guy has some pretty awsome projects. It also said that he bought most of them from local hobby shops. I live 2 hours away from Calgary, Alberta, which is a very large city. So, is it very likely that I would find a suitable RC sub in one of those hobby shops? I'll check next time but I thought I heard that you couldn't really buy good kits from stores.

Thanks for the replies!
