The addon with the CV9040, planned for September, sees a slight delay because the Swedish army has come up with lots of feedback and demands for changed or added features. Additionally, the betatesters also seem to have found some things. However, no one has said that it will be a major delay. I think it will be around 1-2 weeks. But that is my personal guts feeling only.

However, Ssnake just has recommended to already upgrade the Codemeter runtime environment to version 3.10, which is needed to run the addon anyway. It is a 10 MB download from the codemeter homepage.

Although avoiding to give a definite release date (as usual  ), there is no indication from eSim so far that the delay will turn out to be a major one.

Patience, boys! ;) As usual, they try to bind a neat and tidy package. If you want to hold somebody responsible, than complain to the Swedish army that obviously never will have enough of late-arriving additional feature demands  :-J

Edit: it is rumoured the betatesters found something which may take a bit more time than just one or two weeks :( New estimation (not official!) is Octobre or November.

Ssnake post this on the forum

As usual, we don't commit to a specific date, and rather wait until the beta testers give green lights. We've received lots of feedback from the Swedish Army that required some more modifications.

What you can do to pass the time is go to www.CodeMeter.com (http://www.codemeter.com/) and download and install the new CodeMeter runtime kit (3.10 or higher). You will definitely need it to get SB Pro PE to run after the upgrade, so you can just as well download and install it right now.

If we wanted to include it in the upgrade, we'd need to upload a full 650 MByte CD image or so since InstallShield doesn't seem to allow to build incremental patches with different packages. By keeping things separate the whole download will be limited to about 80 MBytes. That's probably worth the inconvenience.
