A popular U.S. game, called "U.S. attacks Iran" or "Assault on Iran" and made by Kuma Reality games, revolved around a special forces mission to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities.

I've never heard of either of those games. How popular could they be?

I can't see what the big deal is. Theirs alot of fps out there like the above. Vietcong 1 and 2 you had to kill vietcong and in 2 you even got to kill americans when playing as the vietcong. The RTS game C&C Generals, you played as GLA which were the americans, China or the Terroist which were very simular to Iraq.
