When I build websites, I always open IE for verification, as it often need tweaks as it won't adhere perfectly to W3C standards, and I only produce XHTML 1.0 Strict code.
However, for my everyday life, I use only Firefox, and that since the beginning, it was called Phoenix, and had no installation, just a plain old folder that we placed whatever we wanted and created a shortcut to the desktop. :p
When website forces me to use IE, I leave plain and simple. But that, is becoming very rare as Mozilla is to trying to circumvent those "IE website only" issues with internal coding.

FireFox all the way baby!! I starting using it about 2 years ago. Now I have it installed on my desktop and laptop. I also convinced 2 friends to start using it... now they are hooked (BTW, one of those is a Mac user)
Maybe we should start a FF lovers thread, and post what themes, extentions and stuff we use.
Firefox FTW. Glad to see competition in the field.

Been using IE for a long time, currently on 6.0.
I've always wanted to install Firefox to get the plug-in that downloads videos from YouTube with ease. But I always leave that for the next day and so time passes and I still don't have Firefox and still use IE.

For a long time I also thought that Firfox was the best. But I must admit I never tried Opera (I just tried IE, IE+shell, FF). And actually most people I know that shout that FF is the best never tried Opera at all.
So last week I finally installed Opera and I like it. Surfing feels faster and the look and feel is way better. Some tiny things are better in FF but generally I like Opera better. And the quality of the widgets definately beats all the extensions from FF
And what about mac users, I thought they used Safari. But no one voted for that, so no mac user in this thread ?
The latest IE7 is really good as well, I really liked it, even more than FF.
But like Porhy wrote "or is it that It is nice with a change? "
Usually use IE6, trying opera for a while. Can't get too excited over it all to be honest, at the end of the day it's a browser not a religion ;)

Nice thing about opera is that it is also cross platform. So I can use it on both Windows and OS X. Yes the widgets are very nice. I work with my browser everyday, which is why I have come to use opera. It is reliable and powerful, a tool that you cannot ignore once you have started using it. Like getting quality powertools. Going back to IE now would feel like using saw and hand drill again. Going FF would feel like getting over-featured powertoys of poor quality. My Foxes always crashed way too often for my liking. And with extensions it becomes clunky. I did use FF for a while, but I never came to enjoy it. However it pleases me that so many actually can see farther than IE, be it FF or Opera.

firefox ftw.

using blueshift theme.
Yes, those 'shift' themes are really cool aren't they?:p I have them all except for the pink one, and I'm using the yellow/gold one right now.
As for browsers, I use Firefox on a regular basis, although I use IE6 when I need to access a site with ActiveX (such as Windows Update). I used to use Netscape (many, many years ago) and the regular Mozilla browser (although I replaced it with firefox about a year ago).

I was using the Noia 2.0 theme until a few days ago. Right now I'm using macfox. I'm still debating whether I'll keep it or not.

Drebbel has convicened me to try Opera. I had to reformat my desktop anyway, so I am installing opera on it right now. I'm still running FF on my laptop for the time being.
IE 6. Tried 7 but I had problems with it. But it was still in Beta when I tried it. :)

Firefox as main browser, with IE as back up. The reason that no one has voted for Safari is due to the fact you can't run most games on a mac (unless you have a duel OS install in one of the new intel machines)
I wsa responable in getting my previous workplace to switch to Firefox. We had a lot less computer problems after that (One staff member was well known for his virus ridden downloads after browsing the net)
Can we also get the similie blowing up the firefox icon changed???:yep::yep::yep: Maybe to one blowing up IE (equal opportunity), Microsoft or Starforce??

FireFox; I used to have Opera as a 'backup', but I never got into it. I'm now Firefox-only.

Confused:oops: I use Opera @ Home & FireFox @ Work.
Hmm, considering I spend more time online while at work ;) I'll go with Firefox. Although, I do have one gripe with FF, it takes a long time for the 3rd party addons to catch up with the new versions.

Firefox with the NoScript plug-in.
Whew! This thread return sure came as a surprise!! :D
I finally went with IE7. While it works okay, it's not compatible with some websites.

I work on different computers every day..majority is IE6&7...about 1 in 4 is Firefox....with misc others occasionally.

IE7, but only with highest security settings as often as possible (if you see a non-formatted posting by me, then I forgot to soften these settings before posting). If operated that way (very rigid), IE is better than it's reputation.
Tried Netscape...didnt take...
Tried Opera...didnt take...
Tried FireFox...never looked back!
Sooo much faster and stable then IE :)
IE is better than it's reputation.
And so is Windows if you don't take her over 40 Kp/h.:rotfl:
