ever done a tour round the world in a Uboat? or any WW2 submarine in this time. You hear of ppl sailing round the world in old sailing boats, yachts, two men even tried rowing round the world in a boat moderfied of course for heavy seas, one rowed one slept and repeat.
If i was a multi millionaire the first thing i would do is buy or build a WW2 submarine, perferably a XXI or Gato Class hire out the best crew i could find and we sail round the world. It would be awesome.:yep:

^^^ Oh nooo! No Bernard's allowed..."Joke" :rotfl:
Bah, I wouldn't want to sail all the way around the world in a tiny, smelly, claustrophobic, obsolete, 70 year old warship, long past it's service life, packed with unwashed humanity, sleeping on an uncomfortable and smelly rack still warm with the funk of the man who just vacated it.
How about i just sail on ahead on ahead in some 21st century pleasure craft and make sure the booze and broads are ready at your next port of call, if you get there?

Thats the very reason why, of course we could moderise the uboat with pole strippers doing their dance round the periscope and have wine and beer each day, central heating throughout the boat with no sign of mold or smelly toliet in site. But that would spoil the experience. It must be the real thing - except we dive at dawn and surface during the day instead of the otherway round. :arrgh!:
And a word of warning August, ive notice some of my crew are SH3 players, two Russian DareDevils and one or two motley crews from who knows where! - We will be carrying live topedoes do not sail pass us!:rotfl:
No modernisation! Uboot-coctails and old food everyday!
