There's a show called Battlefield: Battle of the Atlantic Part II tonite (Fri, Sep 30th) on the Military Channel at 1800 EST.
Part I was on last nite and was superb! It was pretty much step by step from before the war to around 1941/1942. Went through the major players, how u-boot crews were trained, the goals and strategies of the Axis and Allies, the equipment such as the VII/IX u-boots, Flower Corvette, Condor, Liberator and more. A whole section about the Graf Spree.
Almost constant historical footage is shown and a lot of details are included. Definately worth trying to catch.
Early next week there's a two part show about the Hood vs Bismarck as well! Can't wait!
