Urgent news from Abu Dawood, one of the newly appointed commanders of the al Qaeda forces in Afghanistan:
Final preparations have been made for the American Hiroshima, a major attack on the U. S.
(http://www.canadafreepress.com/2006/paul-williams091806.htm)Muslims living in the United States should leave the country without further warning.

hmmm interesting, its unlike Al Queada to warn people of an attack first and so I think this may be a plot to scare the West, a new tactic born out of desperation. At least I hope so.

Not true. such warnings usually comes as a message trying to blackmail the targetted nation, or vowing revenge. but they are not specific about their target selection.

Anyway, if this is true, the Sh** hit the ventilator...again.

This was news last week and it was not the first time such a warning was issued.

It is also a very "cheap" warning to make. There might be nothing behind the threats. There might be. Who can tell except for the terrorist?

Al-Qaida has obtained at least 40 nuclear weapons from the former Soviet Union – including suitcase nukes, nuclear mines, artillery shells and even some missile warheads. In addition, documents captured in Afghanistan show al-Qaida had plans to assemble its own nuclear weapons with fissile material it purchased on the black market.

That is the whole point of terrorism - to create a state of perpetual fear such that you never know when, where, or how the next attack will come, or even if it will come.

Actually, that's not so much the "point", rather its the means to whatever end whichever group seeks to accomplish. As to this particular source, I put about as much stock into it as I would next week's forecast.

I agree. And we know they don't care if muslims die. look at how many they have killed in Iraq.
