Well, sailing about in my IXB and was running after a task force at 20knts, and finally got abeam of the tommies.......then to my suprise!! no i was lined up great, i had left my AIM on and while I was being chased by the DD, my stupid friend Im'ed me and i got killed while talking :nope: next time I see im im gonna hit him with a broom:down:

also, my own experience in an Taskforce Mess up is with an Fatigue issue...I didnt change my SO and just as I,m in the taskforce my SO stopped detecting so i didnt get any update...and at the sudden I got rammed by one of the BB's hearing loud screws closing...it was the Revenge battleship that rammed me causing my sub to go surface and directly had to crashdive because almost whole the taskforce put his lights on.:o

I've spotted two carriers so far in Grey Wolves. The first time I came across one I was submerged, and I first noticed this oil slick burning some kilometres up ahead (from a ship that had sunk), and then the silhouette of a carrier.

A destroyer got the drop on me and sunk me before I could even consider attacking the damn thing. I was too shocked at seeing a damned carrier to do anything about it:p.

The second time was late at night and pitch-black, and I was playing at 100% realism, I seem to recall, so of course it got away.

I've had a similar experience to this, except in my experience, I didn't even know the Task Force was out there. I was cruising to my patrol grid and all of a sudden -- BOOM! I literally run right into a Task Force with TWO BBs! Before I could say "BERNAAARD!" the DDs chased me down to the depths and I ran away like a little girl. I don't even have to tell you how angry I was.
