I just saw one movie and I am not understanding why people are mad at this girl because I never really watched any of her home movies. I just clicked on this one today and now I am a bit interested since it seems like a BIG deal on youtube.com

Der Craigslist-Skandal und seine Folgen

Ein "wirklich übler Scherz", meint Intern.de (http://www.intern.de/neue_meldungen/pranger-experiment_443_17.html) (1), Spiegel-Online (http://www.spiegel.de/netzwelt/technologie/0,1518,436372,00.html) (2) spricht dagegen von einem "Sex-Skandal" und für Wired.com (http://blog.wired.com/27BStroke6/?entry_id=1553329) (3) ist es die Tat eines Soziopathen. Die Rede ist von einem Vorgang, der durch ein Inserat bei Craigslist.org (http://craigslist.org/) (4), dem weltweit größten Online-Kleinanzeigenmarkt, ausgelöst. wurde. Dort veröffentlichte Anfang September angeblich eine junge Frau aus Seattle eine äußerst eindeutige Anzeige. Gesucht wurde von ihr ein dominanter Mann für harten schnellen Sex, und ergänzt wurde dieses Inserat von einem pornographischen Bild, das angeblich die Suchende zeigte.

Innerhalb eines Tages antworteten exakt 178 Männer auf dieses Angebot, die oft in ihren Emails ihre privaten oder beruflichen Telefonnummern verrieten. Außerdem schickten sie in den meisten der Fälle auch Fotos von sich und ihrem Genitalbereich. Eigentlich nichts Weltbewegendes und vor allem nichts Strafbares, schließlich ist das Sexualleben dieser erwachsenen Männer deren Privatangelegenheit. Doch die angeblich so sexhungrige Frau war gar keine Frau, sondern hinter ihrem weiblichen Pseudonym steckte der Web-Designer Jason Fortuny aus Seattle. Er hatte sich angeblich zusammen mit einer Bekannten namens Demura (http://demure.livejournal.com/) (5) diese Geschichte ausgedacht, dabei seinen Text aus einer echten Suchanzeige herauskopiert und dann unter dem Pseudonym einer Frau bei der Seattle-Ausgabe von Craiglist.org veröffentlicht.
So weit, so merkwürdig. Und ein Vorgang, der nach einem lustig gemeinten Scherz eines Pubertierenden klingt. Doch dann war schnell Schluss mit merkwürdig. Fortuny veröffentlichte nämlich auf einer Netzseite die Emails und die Fotos, die ihm zugeschickt wurden und rief zusammen mit Demura dazu auf, die Männer zu identifizieren: "You just might know some of these people (based in Seattle CL.) If you do, plz let us know, they will be inducted into phase 2."
Auf die Bitten einiger seiner Opfer, die Emails und Fotos aus dem Netz zu nehmen, hat Fortuny bisher nur mit Spott reagiert und einige dieser Anfragen sogar auf seiner Seite veröffentlicht. Den ganzen Vorgang nennt er selbst ein Experiment und behauptet allen Ernstes, dass es satirisch gemeint sei ( RFJason CL Experiment (http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/index.php/RFJason_CL_Experiment) (6)).
Der Vorwurf, dass er mit dieser Veröffentlichung die Existenz seiner Opfer gefährden würde, wird von ihm geflissentlich ignoriert. All die Bilder und Emails sind also bis heute immer noch online. Und wie es ausschaut, können die Opfer mit rechtlichen Mitteln die weitere Veröffentlichung nur schwer verhindern. Dazu befragte amerikanische Juristen sprechen nämlich von einem rechtlichen Präzedenzfall mit höchst unsicherem Ausgang.
Diese Geschichte hat im Netz und mittlerweile auch in den alten Medien eine heftige Diskussion ausgelöst. Erschreckend ist dabei, dass viele Netz-Nutzer Fortunys Vorgehen rechtfertigen, ja, sogar lustig finden. Und seine Opfer, heißt es dann meist, könnten eben mit dem Internet nicht umgehen und hätten daher selber Schuld.
Doch dieser Eingriff in die Privatsphäre anderer ist zwar besonders unappetitlich, aber beileibe kein Einzelfall. So hat inzwischen ein junger Mann mit dem Netz-Pseudonym CosmicJohn Fortunys Aktion eins zu eins in Portland wiederholt – wieder mit traurigem Erfolg. Kürzlich veröffentlichte angeblich aus Versehen AOL die detaillierten Suchanfragen von Tausenden seiner Kunden. Vor wenigen Tagen wurden die Account-Daten von 650.000 Teilnehmern der populären virtuellen Welt "Second Life" Opfer eines Hacker-Angriffs (http://www.idm.net.au/story.asp?id=7469) (7). Und auch die zahlreichen Fans von Lonelygirl15, dem Star der Video-Gemeinde YouTube.com, mussten plötzlich erfahren (http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/la-me-lonelygir13sep13,0,347594.story?coll=la-home-headlines) (8), dass die beliebten Videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtH7DTu-DgI) (9) nicht, wie behauptet, von einer 16-jährigen Schülerin stammten, sondern von Filmprofis mit einer wesentlich älteren Nachwuchsschauspielerin produziert worden waren. Und leider hat BBC wohl nicht ganz Unrecht, die in einem Kommentar (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/5335054.stm) (10) zu diesen Vorgängen schreibt, dass man keinem im Netz mehr glauben dürfte.
Weil das offenbar tatsächlich so ist, gibt es inzwischen auch erste Stimmen, die behaupten, selbst Jason Fortuny und die von ihm veröffentlichten Emails seien in Wirklichkeit nur ein Fake. Ein Fake, den jemand inszeniert habe, um dadurch zur Internet-Legende zu werden. Das zumindest hat er dann ja geschafft.

I don't usually watch any vids other than SHIII vids on youtube, but I just happened to click on one of them because how can "998,773" people be wrong when the video is rated 4 to 5 on youtube by nearly half of them? I figured, hmmm, must be something entertaining. It turns out to be some sort of real life soap opera taking place on the net. What surprised me most was that people from ALL over the world are interested in this girl. Both guys and girls and at various age levels.

Apparently she upset a lot of people be making them believe that she was some sort of innocent, pretty, girl that was religious. Turned out her religion is "Youtube.com" and she was having an affair with another youtube.com user named "DanielBeast". Apparently they live close by since he has been seen in some of her videos. They had some sort of fight it appears ( I don't know what about) and she did something she never does in her videos by cursing and saying the "F---" word. This brought about controversy that she may have lied to the world about being religious and being innocent.

I find it amusing that anyone was interested in her at all. She is pretty, but guys seem to think that she is the hottest thing they've ever seen. I don't think she's all that, but that's my opinion and I also try to view her as a kid and not an adult yet since she was reported as stating she was 24 when she turned out to be only 16.
I mean, there are Arab people in Saudia Arabia that are posting movies about it and someone stated that it was on CNN and Skybird post shows that it was in the German media as well. It's like the world views these two kids as Adam and Eve or something...WTF!?!

A quite open advert that led to a quite big messy scandal that came before lonelygirl15. A female seeking rough and brutal sexual contacts, resulted in many males sending their contact info and pictures of themselves, exposed, but then it came out it was no girl, but a man who then made all those replies public on his webpage and asked people to help identifying the senders, that way having them to enter "phase 2" (whatever that is). It is not only disgusting, but cynical and idiotic, too. Legal cases are said to offer little or no chance to prevent that guy from going on, laws do not fit this cause. He also does not care for putting existences at risk, mocks and laughs about his victims.I was always wondering what could drive people so far hat they start to get engaged on marketplaces like this. Obviously they do not consider themselves to be more than just some piece of dead meat.Behave like an idiot - get trapped like an idiot. Better to stay alone than making a fool of yourself, loosing your honour and integrity.
