Unable to save games

If I save a game mid-patrol and come back to it later on, my U-boat is destroyed by collision within about 10 secs from loading the patrol. This only happens on saves while out on patrol. Driving me nuts! I have SH3 1.4, using SH3 Commander, and a milkcow mod from here.

Any suggestions?

Do you save when you are submerged? That happened some times to me. If i saved submerged, the uboat was destroyed just after loading the game (by collision). But then, i installed the GW mod, and everything works like a charm. (Dont know why, though...):D

Doesn't matter if I am surfaced or submerged, any game that I save and then load up ends in the same result, boat destroyed by collision.
