Is there a dedicated bug thread? I just looked through the first few pages of the SH3 main forum and also did a search, and I didn't seem to find one.
FYI, I play w/the Grey Wolves mod.
I set up a rather sweet shot on a Fiji Light Cruiser. It got heavily damaged, and it eventually sunk. But when I look at my logbook, it doesn't appear. Also, no sunk icon appears on my navigation map, either. So, I reloaded the game and sunk it, again, making sure that my Weapons Officer identified it. I figured that meant that the game would "know" for sure that it was identified as hostile, etc., and that it existed. Same deal!!!! :damn::nope: I'm not sure how to get around this bug.
A rather innocous bug seems to happen when I'm just loading the game but I'm underwater, and my crew makes noises like a torpedo just hit something and sometimes I'm told "Hull Damaged." Well, the hull is never damaged, yet it would seem that even though we're underwater, I can still go up onto the bridge with my waterbreathing watch crew, etc.
I also read w/trepidition about known bugs in the Wiki Community Manual. They said that the Type IX-D2 only has half the range it's supposed to, and that Type XXI's snorkel has got the signature of a surfaced sub to Allied radar. Does anyone know if those that been fixed? Because it seems it gets rid of the primary reasons why'd you'd get those two subs!!
