well here we go again, can everyone else feel the same old buzz we all get during the dev process. Silent Hunter 2 was the same, SH3 and now SH4. great stuff. I tend to disappear for a year after each game and then come back when we hear news of the latest incarnation. anyhow, its going to be a fun 10 months ahead.

I love the buzz too. Some people seem unable to enjoy it but I love the buildup to a new subsim.

At this point, that cannot spoil my anticipation. I am sure that most of us will be so pleased about SHIV that we will dutifully lambast it on the forums for its umpteen flaws as if it was a matter of gravest concern :)

The Buzz is always fun. It's a bit like the lead up to Christmas as a child......full of anticipation mixed with frustration.

Hehe you on that one too? If people whine about Ubi soft and SH3, they should try a couple of years under the yoke of Activision and CA. We have it easy ^_^

"The Buzz" was what pulled me toward SHIII, and I never regretted it. Can't wait now

I can`t describe the feeling I had when I loaded SHIII for the first time. It was almost like losing my virginity, so much expectation and it only got better with time;)
I have great expectations for SHIV too, it will be interesting with different boats and a new enemy.
I love U-boats and I have read a lot about them, but I`m looking forward to know more about the US boats too.

I was thinking about the quality of the gaming experience, not what I was doing in the game:lol:
It sounds weird, but it was the best metaphore I could think of. Im I a subsim junkie or not?:yep:

The worst part is that no matter how long you wait for a game, once it's in your hands the waiting time feels like nothing at all.

At least that's how it is for me.

You know, it can be half-decent, but practice makes you better:lol:
Maybe it`s weird comparing subsims to sex, but both bring quality to our lives:up:
