I have found the [ , ] Previous Unit and [ . ] Next Unit views to be very handy, watching the overall scene of activity going on. I can't find a thing in the book..or Search.. that tells what is the way those keys work. Sometimes my Boat is the 'central figure'... sometimes another craft is.

Anybody able to enlighten me on this ??

Those '','' and ''.'' buttons are the Ship cams control

when made contact with an Ship or airplane you can switch ur view to that contact.

when ur in an station example command room
when u press the . or , button the first ship ur see is ur own Submarine
then then u can toggle between ship contact by keep pressing the button , or .

I believe hitting the [.] key focuses on your own sub. repeated hitting of the [.] and[,] keys toggle you through whatever ships are in visual or hydrophone (if submerged) range. [.]=foreward in listing. [,]= toggling backwards. just be sure not to toggle those two keys while in a harbor---there is a stock bug that as soon as the unit view cam focuses on a land unit---the camera view becomes skewed and does wierd things----won't revert back until you exit and reload game.

edit: sorry about repeat answer-i guess hunter and i were typing at same time

Pressing either the period or the comma will step you threw the outside view of every ship or plane that has been spotted by any visual means, including the UZO and by the periscope, and also by hydrophone.

You will always see your u-boat even if there is nothing else out there. You'll only be able to step threw others if they exist at that time.

I hope this makes sense.
