View Full Version : New monitor woes

I've just upgraded my old monitor to a GNR TS902W 19" LCD screen, and now SH3 screws up the screen. All I get is horizontal bands of pixels that don't form a real image; the game is running (I can hear sound, for example), but the only solution is a reboot (Ctrl+Alt+Del for the Task Manager is unreadable too). It's almost as if the change in aspect ratio hasn't been recorded.

The graphics card is a Radeon 9600; the PC is a P4/2.5, with plenty of memory and so on, and ran SH3 fine before I swapped the monitor.

Any ideas, folks? Any more information needed? Thanks in advance.

Did u install the LCD screen with an CD you get with that Screen?
and maybe upgrade ur Ati Driver to the latest just to make sure.

Is it set to the proper resolution? I dont know if that would make a difference like that though

Thanks guys - I was hoping there was a simple way of resetting SH3's graphics configuration without reinstalling, but maybe there isn't.

I've just got a new PC anyway, and I'll be switching over to that, so I'll see how that goes.

I've tried to play it once on a 42in HD tv it was a mess don't think my graphics card is powerful enough.
