...than Iran or Iraq, an American magazine said yesterday.
:rotfl:
the following is lifted from another fora where it cought my attention:
The following is an extract from a US publication:
Nile Gardiner, of the Right-wing Heritage Foundation, told The Daily Telegraph yesterday that Americans were coming to view Britain as "a hornet's nest of Islamic extremists" and thought it posed ''a direct security threat to the US".
He said that if British-based terrorism continues, America is likely to respond harshly.
....Much of the outraged American response this month was sparked by the call from Muslim leaders for a change in British foreign policy. The letter from six Muslim MPs and 38 community leaders said "current British Government policy risks putting civilians at increased risk both in the UK and abroad".
The theme was taken up by the Wall Street Journal, which said: "It is typical of some of Britain's so-called moderate Muslims, who seem less concerned with fighting extremists in their midst than in excusing them."
Based on previous US foreign policy we could expect an invasion within months if not weeks.
Now as I see it this might not be all bad, could have some advatages for us.
Muslim extemism would be curbed and the trouble makers sent to Guantano.
After invading they would be putting loadsa money in to rebuild the country.
Because of the Terrorist links across the EU the US would force us to with draw from it.
They would reorganise out government and put a constitution in place. We could ask for our old one back as it served us well until Parliament reduced it's power.
We would get the right back to have pistols and be able to defend ourselves.
Our leaders would be put on trial for their crimes against the people.
We could look forward to criminals getting sentenced to 99 years in jail with no parole.
As a hot bed of extremisim and terrorists the number of US tourists would decline.
As a protectorate of the US we could get the lower prices the US gets instead of being ripped off for cars etc.
The article on it is at:

Alright, so I've stretched the theme a bit, journalistic licence!http://www.airgunbbs.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
Of all the 'current affairs' topics (ranting etc) from the last several months this one made me frown a little at first then laugh out loud; UK "a hornet's nest of Islamic extremists":lol::lol: oh dear oh dear.
 :help:
another plot, or a "successful" attack by British Muslims on an American target, would be likely to spur an immediate response.
AAAAGK!
*Dons tin hat and waits for the bombs to start falling*
If you chaps invade our Sceptered Isle does this mean we get cheaper petrol and s'mores? :hmm:
