First of all , my apologies for having posted 3 threads in 2 days but i need help.
I started my 3rd patrol as U-47 and everything went pretty well. But now I can't finish it!!! I save my career and i click on exit patrol then dock at kiel and I receive my patrol report saying that I started at october 6th and finished at decermber 25th. but I'm always re-directed to the main menu and when I want to re-load it says (dead). I wonder what's going on... please help

Sounds like you might need to load up a save from before you died maybe? You didn't save or exit while sumerged did you? I've read about some problems with that.

No, Actually, I'm docked at the exact same place that I was when I started the patrol. but when i save and the click on dock at kiel, i recieve my patrol resumé but I can only press the little arrow in the lower left corner of the screen ( which is redirecting me to the main menu ) thus forcing me to reload.

Starting three threads in 2 days is not a big deal, but I do have a request: could you put more in the subject line than "help"? "help with reloading savegame" would be excellent... just helps me ignore the threads I have no interest in, and concentrate on others.

Did you "save & exit" or save and THEN exit?If you used the first option,well,I think that's the problem.I have a rule :Never ever ever ever ever ever ever .... etc... "save&exit" then dock or "save&exit" then load.This,like saving submerged,can cause a lot of stupid problems .
Just load a save other than the one you "save&exited" with and resume your patrol.I hope this works!
(Saving submerged can also have some "nice" effects,like the watch crew on the bridge at any given submerged depth)

I took the second option ... I do this every time. I'm gonna explain you what I do step by step:

1. I press esc to select ''save''
2. Once saved, I select ''Exit patrol'' then I select Dock at: Kiel
3. I'm given the career history telling me that I started at October 6 and ended at januarry 28
4. I'm then redirected to the main menu (by pressing the little white arrow in a box in the lower-left corner of the screen).

If anyone knows about how to solve this issue ... please tell me.

B.T.W. I restarted from the begining of that patrol to see if it works better this time.

Don't really know what to make of this...but did the new patrol work?Or do you get the same problem?And what mods(if any) are you using?

I started the patrol anew but have'nt finished it yet.
I'm using the Grey Wolves.

If the second patrol also doesn't work,try re-installing GW completely (just installing it over again,or completely re-install SH3 if you want).I get some weird problems with NYGM and GW sometimes ,and re-installing the mods fixes them all the time.

I just found the trick. You have to save then exit the patrol when you are in the middle of that same patrol. Otherwise ,if you dock at the harbor and try to exit ... you'll recieve the ''dead'' status.

Well you could use that too,but you loose renown for teleporting to base.
