Last night my IXB was assigned to grid FF58. Never been that far and didn't go this time.
FF58 lies somewhere south from Liberia and Ivory Coast and the distance from Kiel is roughly 11,000 km.
Is this a bug or what?

So are you wondering if you've got enough fuel to get back?? Well I would guess that you'll have an opportunity to use a milkcow along the way.

Knowing him, he'd probably row the boat backwards or something.:)
I've been sent to Grid GR in a VIIC. Only way to go was at slow. And yes I made it back but barely and had to submerg to run on batteries to their limit. One nice thing is that recharging only runs one diesel engine, which saves a bit of fuel.

Not really .....one engine is used to move the boat and the other engine is recharging the batteries .
both engines are running but only one is conected to the propellers.

FF58 is not that bad wait until you get assigned to GR99 now that's what I call a trip something in the region of 27,000km round trip from Lorient.
Or better still set coarse for Penang that's a trip and a half.
