Sorry if this is being posted before, but I just found this and I think itīs really hilarious.

Pentagon claims that a fan made video from Battlefield 2 OFFICIAL add-on Special Forces is an terrorist made trailer for add-on that will allow you to play as an terrorist.

For you who havent played the game, you can already choose between three factions (in the special forces add-on thereīs more) and one of them is Middle eastern coalition aka MEC which is a terrorist faction.

See for yourself:

Someone should send them a letter with instructions to how to use google. :rotfl:

Now you have to watch a commercial before you can see the news clips. Times are a changing.

Back on subject: Next they will claim that children that buy toy guns are actually terrorist's in training.

MEC is not a terrorist faction

Itīs a coalition of armies. In the game, soldiers of MEC army have the same capabilites and similar weapons of the USMC.

Itīs not a surprise the Pentagon thinks that every Abdullah is a terr.

But an Abdullah in uniform and fighting openly for his country is a soldier, not a terrorist.

Yea, sorry about that. I wrote the post in a hurry, the add-on 'Special Forces' have a insurgent faction. And thatīs what the news is all about. As I understand it, Pentagon claimed that the Add-on is made by a terrorists.

Yeah, how is this any different from Command and Conquer: Generals? You can play Muslim muhadjadeen in that game, too.

When I read about our government doing stuff like this, I am reminded of the movie "Mission Impossible". Not the actual moving picture, but the book of the movie. The CIA director tells one of his deputies: "SOMEONE IS KICKING YOU IN THE HEAD, AND YOU'RE LOOKING TO SEE WHAT COLOR SHOE HE'S WEARING!"

Stop the foot. Then look at the shoe.

Secure our borders. Then issue warrantless wiretaps, ban terrorist games, and conduct McCarthy/Inquisition hearings to find the mujahadeen using taqiyya to hide in Dar al-Harb (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dar_al-Islam).

Ok, bad if the enemy uses a game to help recruit troops :hmm:

Good, if the US uses a video game to help recruit new troops (Oh I don't know, maybe, perhaps, games such as "AMERICA'S ARMY" and just about every other war game that places the USA as the protagonist and every other country as the enemy"!!! USA's way is the ONLY right way didn't you know? Geez, what a control and powertrip our government is on!!! WTF??

This Bush government is getting more and more ridiculous everyday. They try to sell this crap to old people and rednecks who watch the TV news on a daily basis and who know nothing about the Internet and video games. They will never learn that people just play these things for FUN. Just like kids who dress up like Darth Vader for Halloween aren't really trying to conquer the light side of the Force. They just want to look scary and get some candy. I guess Mr. Bush and his possee will never understand that!

What's next? Are they going to try to call us SHIII crowd a bunch of Nazi's or something because we play as the Germans in WWII sinking American and Allied ships? LOL!!!:rotfl:

Typical american hearing with idiots talking about what they have no clue of. Those people make decisions for America. All are safe.

the fact that soundtrack for the movie is actually from film called "Team America: World Police" is the biggest laugh. When the guy is asked by that spineless journo on why they mislead the pulic, it's pathetic. He gets a very easy pass on it.

If all these twats were giving the same response as Jon Stewart did back in 2004 on cross fire, I think the whole thing might not have even gotten to the congress stage to begin with. (link to Crossfire: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSDUQoM8G1k ) If you havent watched it - I recommend it.
