Hey gizzmoe, if you have photoshop, you could put a sign on the pin with a random number, and a sign underneath saying "Complaints Dept."
I'd love to get a frag model that had that kind of look.

If any kind souls knows of a note book software of sorts, you know, something that simulates, hmm, post-it notes or something, please let me know.
I like Gizzmoe's idea of putting shortcuts inside a folder, thanks for the hint, worth a try. :up:
I put most of my shortcuts to the upper right corner.
The folders are:
Äänet = Sounds (I sometimes make a sound mod or two to various games)
Sekalaista = Misc (Basically, all the .zipīs and .rarīs go here)
Pelit = Games
Ohjelmat = Programs
It went alright for sometime, but the I got lazy. Much quicker just to click the shortcut that search it from the folder. :rotfl:

Here's my wallpaper. It is of the Great Lakes bulk freighter Edward L. Ryerson. She was recently returned to service after a long-term layup. Her future was in much doubt before then. I am quite happy to see her sailing again. The photo shows the Ryerson's first visit to the #5-6 furnace at Mittal East, Indiana Harbor on July 27, 2006. I also can't stand alot of icons on my desktop. I try to keep them down to an absolute minimum.

Get your son to try out Guildwars its a better game, my son use to be a runescape player, then found out about GW. Its free online mmorpg - no monthly fees yet you have to buy it compared to runescape which is a freebie.

I change mine quite a lot depending on my mood. I almost always take them from sims or games I might be playing. This is Lock on and I’m doing my favourite thing in my favourite aircraft, which is ground attack and the SU-25 Frogfoot respectively.
http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m308/A_J_Rimmer/Toolbar.jpg
I like to keep things clean my self. I use a lot of the taskbar, quick launch and also toolbars. It's much quicker it set up all your game shortcuts in one folder and pop it down there. Sims I play mostly are not in separate subfolders so I can access them quickly.

That one is my desktop at home.
It's useful when writing Autolisp code and using AutoCAD* and web browsing, winamp, windows folders etc - I can spread that confusion of windows across both monitors hehe. I also run programs like Teamspeak on my second monitor so I can see the lobby and who's in it whilst playing games or whatever.
Perhaps I'm just greedy for realestate hehe.
You ought to try it, you'll never go back to using one monitor again :up: We use 2 monitors at work and I can honestly say I couldn't do my job half as easily if I only had one monitor, even with something like a 22" widescreen thing.
* specifically it's a godsend to have the main graphical window on my primary screen then have the 'properties' dialog and the 'xref manager' & 'sheetset manager' and commandline window on my second monitor, or a webpage/email etc.
