In the news today there was a short report about a new kind of service agency that you can see in some German cities. You know about dating forums and partner agencies, now there are - separation agencies, too. Couples where one partner has no spine, courage, reason or whatever, can pay them a fee so that these agencies tell their future ex-partner that they want do disengage. They have four packages on offer, a friendly telephone-briefing, a clear and rough telephone briefing, a letter with written explanations, and a personal visit vis-a-vis. Prices range from 20 to 50 euros. Don't get it wrong, the final contact is not arranged between both partners, but between the "victim", and a representative of the company who received the order by the other partner and then do it in his place.

For a minute or two, my brain stopped working, that empty I felt after realising what BS I just had become witness of. That modern Westerners consider this kind of BS necessary and acceptable tells me something of how "kaputt" (broken) the Western culture already is.

That company is in service since two months. They said they are happy with the ammount of orders.

Reminds me of companies who fired their employees via mass-SMS messages that employers should clean their bureaus before 8 am the next morning.

Heartless. Brainless. Dead.

Bad form......and really shows the lack of sensitivity that one partner has for the other.

Not to mention that it seems more and more that the sheeples need somebody to hold their hand through life.

It seems as if the emasculation of Western culture is nearing completion. :nope:

Makes sense.

It's amazing that there are still people marrying and raising families. About time something like this came up: the alleged high amount of customer speaks for itself.

We have science prizes, literature throphies, chess contests. I suppose we could use a Family award - though finding members for the judging committee might prove difficult.

Meh, just another angle to make a buck relying on those facile enough to indulge such a thing. There's always a few. :hmm:

Nice. Not surprising with all the terrorist sypathizers around who are about as spinless as they get.

Maybe Islam is right. If we already have arranged separations, we also could have arranged marriages, couldn't we? :88)
