Hands power over to his brother Raul. May be a little premature, but they are dancing in Miami.

But then I'd loose: "God, give me chastity and continence - but not just now."
I'd have to pray for Fidel's recovery and wish him many more years of healthy life with dignity in a proper jail, something he never provided to his prisioners.
Besides, I've been to a Jewish hospital some months ago - prime stuff, staff, facilities, all excellent. Rivalling a Sirian-Lebanese (Christian) Hospital I've also been to, hats off to the Jewish people, keepers of knowledge and masters at the art of occidental medicine. - and when I went for the Bible every hospital has in the room, it occured to me I was holding a blue book that was no Bible at all but something else, a collection of David's prayers with commentary, or so I would discover. I opened the book and found out I was holding it upside down, and that Hebrew books are like Japanese, after turning a few white pages I found the first printed page to be the 500 and something, you have to start reading from the back to front (no matter, I do this with a monthly magazine of mine anyway), and finally getting to the point: Jewish prayers are SO B.C.!
I enjoyed having to use my mind though, and be forced to digest the text instead of having it all delivered to me already chewed. This is where Benedictus XVI brings some fresh air. John Paul II almost turned the Church into a neo-pentecostal popular show.
No thanks. I have too many mileage points to resign from this operator. Besides, I heard of one who offers to buy my mileage, plus give me 72 prizes at the end of the contract, though rumors say it's just a scam and there's some fine, shabby print few people care to look at, or even notice.
I never realised that Fidel Castro was Jewish!I hope the handover goes peacefully.I have been to Cuba many times and I would rather go to this communist state than the free country of Jamaica. They may be poor in Cuba and have a repressive regime but you are less likely to get murdered there!

Do I see some thread spread above?I wouldn't go to Jamaica on holiday even if it was free. The population do not like tourists and it is a very dangerous country-their cigars are also mediocre!Cuba is a charming country in comparison!
Heck this is not good my stock market shares in Cuba Cigars has just gone down.

I hope you are kidding about Castro, I mean that he is Jewish, he is actually a left over Marxist from aCatholic background I thought. Otherwise I hear lots of bad things about Jamaica too.

The medical statistics for Cuba are second only to Canada for amount of doctors/life expectancy etc.I believe that Fidel has survived surgery and will be back to make a 7 hour speech soon.

Fidel did us a favour here in Canada during a bad time back in the 70s, and he's never gotten the bad press here that he does in the US; in fact Cuba is a fairly popular (and cheap) vacation destination from here, and considering the conditions in Cuba now versus before the revolution that put him in power, I'm not inclined to throw stones.
Cuba is the best thing that ever came out of the early 20th Century's experiment with Communist ideas.
I don't think you'll find a poorer person in better health than in Cuba. Don't know why those guys are dancing in Miami. I mean it's Miami. It's not exactly a great place for poor immigrants to live.
