I just wanted to get a better feel for what demographics are represented on the forums. Sometimes it seems mostly European, and other times it seems mostly American (including Canada).

So where you from? Lets take a poll and see where peeps are coming from.

This is a very tricky question.

Where are you from as in where you were born? Or where you spent most part of your life? Or where you currently reside? Or where you spent the best period of your life? Or where is the favourite country you ever lived in?

I'm a happy bunny and I've jumped around a few times.

To those who never left their country of birth or continent: you can never fully know your country without ever looking at it from the outside. Unless you think staring face to face at Michelangelo's David's penis is a sight big enough.

Whatever, I'll vote where I was born.

Being a happy bunny myself, I've voted for my place of birth as well.

I take it that the Netherlands are not part of the European mainland. Do you expect them to sink in the ocean soon? :-j

hehe. When the population of Sydney is bigger than the population of your entire country is hard not to get overshadowed :p

Don't feel bad, they always lump Texas in with the US, too.

Hmmm...this time I see Canada is now merged with the US :rotfl:

Its not meant to be tricky. Wherever your citizenship lies. Or if you have duel-citizenship, then whereever you pay taxes

you guys are such nit-pickers. Yes they are part of the European mainland, but I wan't to sub divide the choices just a bit more. Ideally I would have been all the European countries seperate, but that enough poll option for all of them.

Could a moderator change the poll option "The mainland of Europe" to "Any other place in Europe" please?

Me, I'm from the sovereign nation of Deseret (that's what the Mormons called Utah when they came here in 1847).

So from the looks of our poll...

... looks like American and Europe are pretty much even split on the forums and a nice portion from other places as well. Good to know.
