I hope that some one out there can help me. I started a new career (graywolf 1.1 mod, sh3 commander, sh3 weather, and sh3 gen) out of Bergan (flotilla 11). I set the career up in commander and all goes well untill I save the game. I run sh3 gen on that saved game and every time I reload the saved game I imediatly begin a rapid decent to crush depth. The watch crew is still on deck and I can not blow ballast (icon grayed out, hot key not working), the boat is acting in every way like it is on the surface moving along at 12 knots.

This is a new one on me. (but I am a newbie)

I have tried rolling back commander (no result), other careers load fine just not this one. I have tried this 4 times now with multipul saves at diffent location for the last three and still get the same result, every time.:damn:

I have not had this problem before and have been playing this way for a month now

Has anyone else had this problem, is this a stock bug, I am at a loss here and hope for some help.

It is a stock bug entirely unrelated to any mods which sometimes causes occasionally saves made while underwater to make your sub sink uncontrollably upon relaod. The solution is just to never save underwater, in harbour or near a Convoy. We can't fix this one lad. And your save is probably toast too.

Thanks for the help.

However the save was not underwater, I was 200km for any port (Bergan being the closest) and no convoy or other ships or contacts were within range.

PS I was not blaming any one or any mod just looking for sugestions. Once again thanks for your help.

Interesting. That's a new one. The underwater save mod is now much more widespread than originally thought.:hmm: You know you might just be the first case of thos occuring above water. Which could be a good thing; ie. it isn't likely to happen again.

I reloaded from scrach (20+ min process) and backed up. works ok now.

This had never happened to me before, it was very strange.:-?

Thanks again
