Does the box have anything to do with the trap?

That thing on the ground has what, 9000 calories? 5kg of trans-fat, it's a bad cholesterol bomb, an insulin volcano, not to mention salmonella, staphylococcus and random fecal coliforms, oh, and since it's on the ground, there's, well, plain old dirt too.

The box IS the trap. You used to see this alot in early cartoons. Like the ones made during or just after WW2. Its a makeshift trap. The box is held up by a stick. Attached to the stick is a string you'd pull while hiding. Once the critter your trying to catch goes up to the bait, you'd pull the string, which moves the stick out of the way, causing the box to fall down and trapping whatever was at the bait.

Your right. If there was any sarchasm there, i totally missed it. Looked like a genuine question. Not everyone grew up watching the same crap i did, so the question looked genuine.
