getting through the channel

How do you get through the minefield at east end of the English channel ?So far i haven't made it since loading up Grey Wolves recently !

What year ? Try ahead flank at night, calm sea, as close to te french coast as possible...and pray.

yup, if that doesnt work then keep clear i dont go through the channel i stay away but if fuel is on ya mind then its worth the risk i guess

I think you can run it on the surface and not hit the mines (mines are usualy well below your own ships draft, and are impact mines not magnetic). Of course you have to avoid the patrols too.

IIRC by 1940 the channel was off limits to uboats under normal circumstances because of the mines and heavy ASW

Easiest way to get through? Simply avoid and go around the top of Britain.
