Hi.

When I play in SH2 or SH I could look at the calendar to check for example moon rise or sunrise time.
Where is it in SH3?

Well you can do the math but yeah it does look like it would have been included. I havnt even thought of it . Moon cycles every 28 days and .......... man whats the math for tides , 6 hours apart? 20 minutes offset daily ? I cant remember I need to fish more.:hmm:

Hi,
There is a download available here on the downloads page called "Moon Phases - Sun rise and set times for 1939 to 1945" by Andy Pratt. I printed a copy off and have it filed in my ring binder of important papers  which I carry on every patrol. (Flags, wind speed table, and conversion table for knots = nm = km, are the other things in the binder I would not sail without.)

Put the cursor over the clock at the bottom of the screen. It will give you the local time AND THE DATE!

lol...I did not know that! I always sent a patrol report to figure out the date.

Thanks.

I know but it is not enough!
Sunset time is very usefull when, for example, you try sneak dd's after your torpedo attack. Many times I made this manouver at cover of night.

I'm forced to agree; the sun and moon rise/set times in SHI were a real help.
