The French are the second team that came out to be a true tournament team, growing stronger and stronger over the event, like the Germans. their match against Brazil was great ballgame, and Zidane prooved o be a force of his own, and made it look so easily. By no means I see the Portugese being able to match this team. Chances 65:35 for France seing victory.

Yes, but the match was boring, imo. I only watched it with one eye.

Same here, was busy playing it out on FIFA 06. The first 90 minute game I've played on that actually, I played as France and had the computer as Portugal, I won 3-1. On World Class difficulty level it's actually quite interesting.

I suposed that this game is with 11 players for each side, right? So why France had plaed with 12?

The referee doesn't count (supposedly ;) )

With the reputation Portugal has for diving any ref must be 110% sure before he gives a penalty to them. France`s penalty was correct.

"Schwalben" are cheating of the meanest kind. One should consider to give a red immediately if the case is obvious and immediate video profe also shows it clearly. It is a very, very bad thing and against anything that is embraced by terms like fair play, sportsmanship, etc. That's why I never support such teams (and does not like Arian Robben as well - just look at him, and he is already falling). The pathetic theatre-play many players perform afterwards when they do not get there christmas gift is even more disgusting. I have a special scene with Ronaldo, and his aftermatch interview, on mind. "The referee was against us". "The referee did not help us." Yeah, sure.

Well, he's right in the second sentence. The referee didn't HELP them by giving them a non-existent penalty (Ronaldo the diver) or by sending someone off with a red because Ronaldo the whiner said so...:)

I think in this world cup Ronaldo will win the "most despised player" prize. Lots and lots of people really despise him for his very poor attitude and complete ingorance of fair play.
