Patrol Area "null" or zero ?

Hello,
after some time i tried to give SH3 a new try, but after returning to Wilhelmshaven after my 7th patrol my patrol area having been AN59 i got the order to go to Lorient after this patrol, which i did.
Now the next patrol area is "Null" and there's no written text in the commands window - what's wrong here ? :hmm:

Are you sure Lorient was your home base? This is where it gets confusing.

When you start your patrol it will give a start and end base. If you finish anywhere else (yeah, forget the message you got mid-patrol), you'll be treated as being docked at a friendly base. When docked at a friendly, non-home base, you get a NULL patrol grid for your next patrol. Another exciting feature of SH3...:nope:

if i remember right i left Wilhelmshaven with the target patrol area AN59, but i already got Lorient as return base - i did not get the message to go to Lorient in mid-game but as a direction when i left W'Haven.
Hmm, do i get a "better than null" patrol area if i return now to Lorient, or should i return to W'Haven ?

I,m running SH3 commander and I started an Career in 1941 , the 29th flotilla...in Sepia. and the first patrol...it also sais Grid : 0
must be a bug or something...if that occures I just quit the game and set an random grid in SH3 Cmdr. and restart...

also sometimes when I load a save...I,m in 1941...2nd flotilla.
