The external torpedoes missing were formerly T1. I tried to drag and drop the external torpedoes into the bow torpedo room and then all of a sudden they up and vanish. Quite an odd occurrence, I doubt this happened in real life much.:hmm: I'm using Grey Wolves 1.1. Any possible explanations? Oh yeah, this is January 1941 and I'm using U-153, a IXC. Is it the boat, or is it a glitch?

I have seen this once, but I don't remember if it was a IXB or C, and I was playing GW 1.0. I figure it went overboard and nobody wanted to own up to it.

I had the same thing once with TW 2.0 in an IXC. I tried to move the external and the weapon screen started to flicker, and then the external torp was gone. Again, I wrote it off as a failed load.

I've never had it happen using a VIIB. :D
Exit the game and reload and the missing torp will reappear. It seems to happen less if you only reload one at a time (don't queue them up, wait until the current loading is finished), and don't drag them from external storage when you're in time compression.

I'm in my 41st career mission and I loaded both at once with no problem. I have a fully upgraded VIIB in May 43. It took 10 minutes to load both.

IIRC, it's a stock game bug.

I had the same thing happen to me when running the stock game....I think it was a time compression thing if I remember right....if I tried to reload while TCing...this would happen.

Har. As a matter of fact, neither have I.

i sure do. I threatened to toss them overboard if they didn't perform well. :rotfl:The same goes for Falke, my Flak gunner. If he doesn't shoot down them damn bombers he goes overboard as well.
