n00b needs more help with recognition manuals

Hi there - working my way through the academy still (don't have the bottle for a real mission until I know what I'm doing), but thought I'd try my hand at manually identifying a target's bearing, speed, AoB. However in the last academy mission I cannot find the cargo vessels in the recognition manuals - the only british ships are warships. What am I missing please?

look for the the cover that says handleshlaff or something along those lines, ( i cant speak german ^_^)

I think that was the one I was looking at, but it seems to warships. There is a british cargo recog manual in the academy missions right?

Use the arrows on the cover to scroll to different nations. Handelschiff covers all merchants, and is not nation-specific.

yup i was the same when i first started playing, i kicked myself when i was eventually told about it, i think it should say "book for identifying merchants":D

Yep, If you pick that little book, standart its set on American ships...just scroll one to the left and Handelshiffe. or else you could Surface and Scream
