My men are dead !

Hi together.
i´ve loaded a saved game from a career (i have never played single player missions)
after i started it i had only about 10 seconds to play.
then the finishing screen comes up and there is standing that the u boat is giving up.
after that i loaded another earlier saved game from the career but here is the same problem !
Then i was very angry because i can´t load any other saved game.
i tried severall things and then i made it radical.
i uninstalled the game.
then i erased all saved games sh3 in "eigene Dateien" (engl: my dates?)

after that i installed the game completely new again and i patched to 1.4
i started a new career at 1939 in kiel.

i left only the harbour and saved the game.

after i switched the pc off and started it new i want to load the new saved game.
F**k the hell the same problem again!!

i was only be able to play about 10 sec. and then the game ends with a "The boat is giving up" summary.
the last saved game is "Status": "Dead" !!!
not "active" not "in base" nothing!
only dead.
hwo can i solve the problem?

Do you Run Stock SH3 or do you run any sort of mods?

because thats important to know actually...the simple solusion is to start an new career or if the same problem comes again. Remove and Re-install SH3

if you run MODS on it be sure you didnt change anything while in patrol.
(I run SH3Cmdr2.5 I messed with my Crew for a bit and when I restarted and switched an member to another compartment my game just crashed....)

Have you tried installing it it in a different directory? (if you have multiple)

I had problems with some game in directory E:, and installed it in C:, and it worked like a charm. Probably some old files lying around and messing things up.

thanks for your quick responses.
so i don´t have any mods installed.
only SH3 and 1.4 patch.
btw i haven´t played for a long time.
a year ago i played sh3 on version 1.0 and i never had these problemes before.
now i started with sh3 again and treid the 1.4 patch.
some things in 1.4 are to good to let them out (harbours in the map, periscope death as button and some others), so i don´t want to go down to 1.0 again.
maybe someone knows witch data has to be chenged, that i can game on?

i´ve installed it new today and i erased the old saved games in my personal files and i treid a completely fresh new career.
it doesn´t work :-(

I think i have solved the problem and i want to write, beacuse someone other may have the same problem.
i tried some games earlier the pizza trainer for infinite hull damage and infinite ammo.
so i had a seafight with 2 destroyers (V&W´s) and i won but several men got hurt or died.
but the boat was still at 100%.
when i started the game again i havent switched the trainer on again and in a my personal datas for the career the hull integrety is always 000.0000% and so the boat sunks even if i play a new mission.

sorry for my bad english but i´m a kraut...

Ya a trainer can realy mess up a save game if you try to run it with out the trainer active with the same settings.
