i tried editing my other thread titled "help im struggling" but its vanished! any way just for those that didnt read it.... it said...

sh3 keeps crashing to desktop, i got some replies saying this and that, one in particular asked wot sound card i had in, blah blah blah i thought id fixed the problem but i havent,:damn:

all this started when i istalled 1.4b patch, what i would like to know is that if i revert back to patch 1.3 will i loose my mods that ive put on, the only reason i ask is that im not too good with computers and my bro put the mods on for me and i wouldnt know how to put them back on if i lost them thanx in advance

I would think a lot of the mods probably only work with 1.4b by now seeing as that patch has been out for quite a while. A couple of things to ask:

You say your brother put the mods in for you, can you tell us whether he used JScones Mod Enabler tool or did he simply paste the various files into the Sh3 folders.

Did you have these crashes before the mods were added in?

Did you uninstall the mods before applying the patch?

no all this was happening before we put on the mods but didnt happen before i patched to 1.4, and he just pasted the mods to the relevent location
